This evening Teegan did his car seat challenge. He had to sit in his car seat while hooked up to the monitors for 2 hours to make sure he can handle the ride home. We're getting closer!
Tonight, we ask that you please pray for Timbree. Hopefully she just has the stomach bug that has been flying around and nothing more. She needs to be healthy when her baby brother gets home!

Deer Creek-Lamont 6th Grade Rocks!
We received a card made by a pretty special group of kiddos. The 6th grade class at Deer Creek-Lamont created a card for Teegan and sent it to us. We had to take a picture of him with the card so they could see just how cool it looks in his room! Can you imagine receiving a greeting card that is as big as you? Well, it is about the same size (length anyway) as Teegan! It really is pretty awesome! We love it! :)
Thanks guys for sending it to us. Some day when he gets big and strong we would love for you to meet him!

Praise God!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the results from Teegan's MRI were normal. Praise God! And today the big, wonderful, awesome, cozy, magnificent "H" word was talked about. Right now his oxygen settings are low enough to go HOME on. As soon as he is able to take all feedings by bottle we are out of here. It makes me a little nervous going HOME on oxygen but we will handle it. I can't wait!!!!

Light at the End of the Tunnel!!
I haven't updated the blog in a long time because it seems like we have been coasting with not much change. This week we are making progress! We have been waiting and waiting patiently for Teegan to slow his respiratory rate down. They don't try to feed a baby unless they are breathing less than 60 breaths per minute. So a few weeks ago when he was breathing faster than that they increased his maximum breaths to 70 before they would allow him to bottle feed. He was still breathing anywhere from 80 to 125 breaths per minute. And sometimes even more. The doctors met to discuss his progress or lack thereof. The decision was made to let him try to bottle feed if he was breathing 90 or less breaths per minute. The few times he was able to try he did pretty well. He enjoys to eat! What can I say? He didn't fall too far from the tree! This week he has finally slowed his breathing down the majority of the time and is doing well with the bottle. Yesterday he took two of his feedings completely from the bottle!! He takes 50 cc's at each feeding. Other times he was just too pooped out. But it finally feels like we are getting somewhere. Today he will have an MRI on his brain to look for brain bleeds. They have to sedate him for the procedure so for 12 to 24 hours after he will not be able to bottle feed. I have faith that the results will be good! You will see in the pictures below but Teegan is getting to be a little toad. He weighs 6 lb. 8 oz. and is 19" long! He gets more and more hair every day and his eyelashes grow longer and longer. Growing boy!
Once again, Tim and I can't thank everyone enough for the prayers. That's definitely what gets us through each day. We love all of you guys! :)

I have neglected the blog for the past few days but I want to update. Teegan is still doing really good. He is on a nasal cannula for his oxygen. Yesterday they moved us to a private room so that is nice. The doctor let him try a bottle yesterday and he took 8 cc's before it just completely pooped him out. This morning he took 8 cc's from a bottle again. They say that babies generally learn the whole suck, swallow, breathe process of taking a bottle between 32 and 36 weeks. Teegan is 6 weeks (34) old today! He weighs 4 lb. 11 oz. and is 17.5 inches long!
